46 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JULY 2022 Your Taste d'Vine Wine Club, the largest club at Four Seasons, invites you to our July meeting. Our members will be introducing you to some great and hopefully new to you wines available in our area. Join us July 21 (we meet the third Thursday of each month) in the Ballroom. Doors open at 5:15 pm with the meeting starting at 6 pm. Please bring a favorite wine to share with your table, along with an appetizer such as crackers, cheese or fruit. Also, please bring two glasses for tasting. The cost is $5 for members and $10 for resident guests. Look for your Bacchus Letter via email – for any further information! For info, please contact Gracy Luna at (951) 292-3624. ~ Gracy Luna Taste d'Vine The Italian American Club's next meeting will be on July 14 at The Courts at 6 pm. Please put the date on your calendar and plan on attending. The Matzo Ball and Meatball competition in May was a very successful event. Games, such as the ball toss at the ladder, bocce ball, and other events were planned. Points were gained for the successful completion of the events, and this year, the Matzo Balls defeated the Meatballs. It was a fun-filled day at The Summit. The Meatballs won last year's event and the Matzo Balls won this year so on to next year for the tiebreaker. Also in May, the Italian American Club enjoyed a bus trip to the Eataly, an Italian Marketplace in the Los Angeles area. We spent a half day at Century City enjoying the three floors of the Italian Marketplace, and then the bus took us to the Farmers' Market where a half day was spent enjoying the market. It was a fun trip and a great time was had by all. The Italian American Club's May meeting at The Courts was canceled because of the Matzo Ball/Meatball competition and the Eataly/Farmers' Market trip to the Los Angeles area. At our meeting on June 9, we enjoyed a "comedy night." The meeting was well attended and everyone had a good time. Our members brought appetizers to share. Remember, you do not have to be Italian to join our group and come to our meetings. Club membership is open to all residents, so put our meeting dates on your calendar and plan to attend. We are a group of people who are alone and would like a pal or a friend to go places with so we don't have to go alone, such as events put on by Four Seasons or day trips by the Travel Group. How about the movies or shopping or going out to eat? Maybe you would like to have a small gathering at your home or an evening of cards and games? Perhaps you just need someone to talk to once in awhile? Whatever the reason, we are here so come join us. Gentlemen, we know that there are a few of you who live alone, so don't be shy, come and join us and we will find you a Pal too.
