FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JULY 2022 47 The Four Seasons Rainbow Group continues in our mission to support the local residents who identify as LGBTQ+ and anyone else interested in our community. We usually meet on the fourth Thursday of the month in the Ballroom. We typically introduce any new members, share stories or news that might be of interest to the membership, occasionally hold potlucks, LGBT-themed movie nights, and will gladly entertain ideas from anyone. Our July event will hopefully be a group BBQ potluck, but if not, a more general meeting on Thursday, July 28 at 6 pm. Look for an email list update for details. If you haven't signed up for our email list or feel that you did but are not receiving mail, please contact Dale at dale.beckes@gmail.com. Lastly, if you haven't already joined our Four Seasons Beaumont Rainbow Facebook group, please do so. Both avenues will keep you updated on any late breaking developments or events. ~ Dale Beckes Rainbow Group During June, the Photography Club made significant progress in getting ready to photograph the Four Seasons veterans. Our plans are now in place. This month, the club will begin taking individual photographs of each veteran who wishes to have a picture for the upcoming Veterans Celebration. The images will be framed and displayed at the Veterans Day Celebration. After the celebration, the veterans will receive their photos. We all look forward to the project. This month, the club will let everyone know the details and the schedule via email and in the Four Seasons Daily Report. The club continues our twice-a-month Work Study Group via Zoom meetings. The group meets via Zoom on the second and fourth Thursday at 4 pm. The sessions will cover club activities for our Veterans Day project. If you have a photography question, you are always welcome to join us. Contact Jacque Sneddon for meeting times and dates for the Work-Study Group. This month's images are two fine travel photos. One is a big cat close up. The second is a sunset photo with a wide range of colors. If you have not received our emails, contact Jacque at jacquesneddon@gmail.com. She will be glad to add you to the mailing list. ~ John Baeyertz, johnbz1453@ gmail.com Photography Club Top photo: Jacque Sneddon - Lion at San Diego Safari Park Bottom photo: Bill Christelman - Morro Bay, California, at sunset
