Will miracles never cease? Miracles are very rare; some
people don't even believe in them. However, if you were at
ping pong last month, during one of our regular playing
hours, you would have witnessed a bonafide, certified, and
electrified miracle. It happened this way: Sally White and
Mary Baer were teamed up as partners to play a game of
doubles. Now Sally and Mary are good players but the
two players across the table from them were not just good
players, they were great players, the kind who strike fear into
the hearts of their opponents. This match was a modern
day David vs. Goliath contest. Well, as it happened in the
Bible story, so it happened this day in ping pong. God must
have been with the two Davids (Sally and Mary) because
they slayed the two Goliaths. (They will remain nameless
due to the extreme embarrassment they would suffer if
their names were mentioned.)
Come join giant slayers Sally and Mary and all the other
fun-loving ping pong players at The Courts. We play ping
pong on Mondays through Saturdays from 2 to 4 pm. We
also offer free ping pong lessons for all levels of players. The
lessons are offered by Jim Wong on Tuesdays and Thursdays
