| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JULY 2022 | 35 Wine Club The Sun Lakes Wine Club will be hosting "Vino on the Veranda" on Mon., Aug. 8 at 5 pm. The evening will be California summer casual and will allow members to meet and mingle with other members while enjoying several wine selections along with a light summer repast. Cruzin' Cronies is a Classic Car Club, but you don't need to own a classic car to join. We usually get together on the first Saturday of the month in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room at 9 am, after parking and displaying our cars in the Main Clubhouse parking lot. We schmooze about our cars, talk about upcoming car shows and related events, and then go to breakfast. Don't forget that the July 4th parade sign up began June 1. This group was founded by a long time Sun Lakes resident, Arlene Vella, to join fellow widows together to share their stories and enjoy breakfast. The group grew to include more than just widows, as the ladies invited friends to join them. Arlene has moved from Sun Lakes, turning the group over to Patti Donatini to continue her vision of fellowship. Most months we have a guest speaker and we support our local veterans.
