54 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JULY 2022 | Lady Executive Golf Women's Golf Welcome to Lady Executive golfers (LEGS)! We are a 9-hole club on the Executive Course. We play weekly on Tuesday mornings with mixed play, fun scrambles, and a monthly tournament. In addition, we participate with other clubs for 18 hole tournaments and "away" games a few times during the year. From October through June, we meet at 8:30 am with tee times at 9 am. From July to October, we meet at 7:30 am with tee times at 8 am. The third Tuesday of each month is our monthly meeting and lunch at the South Clubhouse. Guests are welcome! We emphasize fun and socializing while striving to improve our game and become more familiar with the rules of golf. We invite you to join us! The Women's Golf Club welcomes all women golfers. We hold weekly games and special tournaments throughout the year. Membership for 2022 is $60. This includes SCGA membership. Call Diane Spence at (951) 267-3338 if you have questions regarding membership. Saturday Morning Golf Are you still working and looking for a weekend golf option? Are you interested in sharpening your short game skills? Do you enjoy having a relaxed game of golf? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may wish to join our Saturday Morning Golf Group. We play on the Executive Course. Our membership includes men and women with a large range of handicaps. Our members share a love of the game. We have shotgun starts. Most of the year, October through June, the check in time is 8:30 am with a 9 am shotgun. In the summer, July through September, the check in time is 8 am with an 8:30 am shotgun. We hold monthly tournaments, an annual Club Championship competition, and quarterly dinners. Membership application forms are available in the North Pro Shop. Annual dues are only $15. Executive Men's Golf The EMGC is open to all male Sun Lakes residents who are interested in golf, fun, and camaraderie. All levels of players (beginners to experienced) are welcome. We play every Friday morning on the Executive Course from the gold tees. We have a monthly tournament on the third Friday to challenge your skills against your fellow club members followed by lunch and prize giveaways in the North Clubhouse multipurpose room. In July, the EMGC will have two tournaments. First, we will partner with and host the Ladies Executive Golf (LEGS) Club for our Annual Combined tournament to be played on Tues., July 12. We will meet and check in at the North Clubhouse Pro Shop at 8 am for an 8:30 am shotgun tee time. Lunch will be held following the play at the South Clubhouse. Our second tournament will be the fifth Friday tournament (format to be determined) and hot dog lunch sponsored by the EMGC. The date is July 29. Pairings and starting holes will be determined by the SLCC Director of Golf. Come join us! Dues are $56 ($20 for club membership and $36 for your SCGA Membership).
