| LIFE IN SOLERA | JULY 2022 | 25 Happy Fourth of July! This month the Solera Papercrafter's Group will meet on July 14 and again on July 28, in the Arts & Crafts Room at 1 pm. Mark your calendar for the second and fourth Thursday of every month. Please contact me if you are new to our group so I can add you to my contact list. Have fun creating greeting cards that will bring joy to the recipient. In June, we got ready for Father's Day with great masculine cards. The designs were different compared to the regular all-occasion cards. You will need to bring for the first time, two items: a pair of scissors and some type of fast drying liquid glue, or a roll of double-sided tape or a tape runner. I will have items with me you can purchase when you attend. You will be making three cards that you won't want to give away. Don't worry if you've never crafted before since I design, cut and stamp for you. As always these cards could be birthday, friendship, thank you, anniversary, or anything else you desire. I will have all the stamps to make your cards your own. Here are a couple cards we made in the past. We will be meeting in the Arts & Crafts Room on the July 7 and 21 which is the first and third Thursdays of the month at 1 pm. If this is your first time, the cost is only $10. Please bring a fast-drying white glue (I like Tombow) and a small sharp scissors. If you don't know where to buy Tombow glue or a small sharp scissors, don't worry, I will have a supply on hand to purchase at cost. I buy in bulk and pass the savings onto you. Thurs., July 28 is my Alcohol TriBlend Marker class. I will be sending out an email blast for all three classes looking for your RSVP.
