NEW: 4seasonscreativegroup.com Please come visit our new website and enjoy the creative works of our Four Seasons community! I have always admired a palette knife painting technique, but never tried it myself. Finally, last year I did and was surprised by the results. The spontaneity and freshness of expression are the main characteristics of this technique, but it also has its quirks and limitations. It certainly was worth trying. I have used it on many paintings since, with effects I couldn't have otherwise achieved by using brushes alone. THE CREATIVE SPOTLIGHT: Andre Lohnert Trail up the Canyon Still-life Rancho de Taos Church Book Club All readers interested in great discussions, occasional guest speakers, and movies; join us the third Monday of every month. Our book for July is The Nature Of Fragile Things by Sue Meissner. We will meet at my house 669 Weir Drive at 2 pm. Hope to see all of you. Any questions, contact Vicki Allen-Hitt at (915) 926-6336 or vhitt@ hotmail.com. TGIF/Karaoke NO TGIF for July! We have decided to cancel TGIF for July Fourth festivities.
