46 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | AUGUST 2022 The Dog Days of Summer are upon us! Believe it or not, it is an actual time of the year – July 3 through Aug. 11, 2022. Your Taste d'Vine Wine Club is bringing in one of our favorite presenters, Heidi Daniels, to guide you through some great wines to help crush our summer heat. Join us Aug. 18 (we meet the third Thursday of each month) in the Ballroom. Doors open at 5:15 pm with the meeting starting at 6 pm. Please bring a favorite wine to share with your table, along with an appetizer such as crackers, cheese or fruit. Also, please bring two glasses for tasting. The cost is $5 for members and $10 for resident guests. Look for your Bacchus Letter via email for any further information! Many of our members participated in the play while the rest enjoyed watching. Naturally, we celebrated the fun with a pizza party. Lots of laughs, delicious pizza, and great friends made for a wonderful evening. This month's meeting of the Italian American Club will be on Aug. 11 at 6 pm at The Courts. Our Steering Committee is planning a barbecue and karaoke. The final details are in progress, so please mark your calendar for our meeting. Our Steering Committee has been working hard planning events for our club and has coordinated with the Jewish Cultural Club on several activities. We thank our brothers and sisters in the Jewish Cultural Club for their willingness to participate with us in our activities. Remember, you do not have to be Italian to join our group and come to our meetings. Club membership is open to all residents so put our meeting dates on your calendar and plan to attend. Wear your patriotic colors. ~ Kathie Sundstrom Classical Music Club We are classical music lovers with an interest in sharing our love, knowledge, and interest in classical music. We meet on the second Thursday of each month at 7 pm in The Lodge Theater. We listen to and watch musical selections on the big screen. Each month we focus on a particular work or several selections of one composer. We also discuss current musical performances in the area. We welcome new members.
