FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | AUGUST 2022 47 The Four Seasons Rainbow Group continues in our mission to support the local residents who identify as LGBTQ+ and anyone else interested in our community. We usually meet on the fourth Thursday of the month in the Ballroom. We typically introduce any new members, share stories or news that might be of interest to the membership, occasionally hold potlucks, LGBT-themed movie nights, and will gladly entertain ideas from anyone. Our next event will be a general meeting on Thursday, Aug. 25 at 6 pm in the Ballroom. Several members often have dinner beforehand in the Bistro, so feel free to join us if you wish. If you haven't signed up for our email list or feel that you did but are not receiving mail, please contact Dale at dale.beckes@ gmail.com. Lastly, if you haven't already joined our Four Seasons Beaumont Rainbow Facebook group, please do so. Both avenues will keep you updated on any late-breaking developments or events. ~ Dale Beckes Rainbow Group Platonic Pals Platonic Pals meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 10 am in the RCN Main Room after which we all go to lunch. In the last couple of months, a couple of our pals paired up and went to a concert at Disney Hall and to the Medieval Times dinner and tournament. If you want to go out and would like a friend to go with you, come to one of our meetings and find that friend. In July, we began taking individual photographs of each Veteran. We invite all who wish to have a picture for the upcoming Veterans Celebration to participate. See Alicia Rodriquez at The Lodge or email her at alicia.rodriquez@fsredential.com. If you have not yet signed up, please do so now. There are dates available in August and September. The images will be framed and displayed at the Veterans Day Celebration. After the celebration, each Veteran will receive a framed photo. We look forward to making this project successful. The club continues our twice-a-month Work Study Group via Zoom meetings. The group meets via Zoom on the second and fourth Thursday at 4 pm. The sessions will cover club activities for our Veterans Day project. If you have a photography question, you are always welcome to join us. Contact Jacque Sneddon for meeting times and dates for the Work-Study Group. This month's images are two photographs of our Southwest. They invoke the unique feel of the region. If you have not received our emails, contact Jacque at jacquesneddon@gmail.com. She will be glad to add you to the mailing list. ~ John Baeyertz, johnbz1453@gmail.com Photography Club Bill Christelman – Patokwa Ancient Pueblo, New Mexico Bill Christelman – Window Rock, New Mexico
