FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | AUGUST 2022 49 For any newcomers to Four Seasons, we support volunteers from our community who love to perform through singing, acting, tech, staging, producing, etc. There will be an informal meeting on Wednesday, Aug.17 at 6 pm in the RCN. All are invited. We will be discussing the new PAC logo that has been submitted and future events. The PAC goal is to offer three to four live events on stage annually. These shows are all free to our residents. We are also working on a one-night event as the schedule permits. You also can enjoy the Four Seasons Bell Choir and their upcoming concerts. They will be performing Aug. 19 at 6:30 pm in The Lodge Ballroom. The concert will have a patriotic theme honoring Veterans and there will be a sing-a-long. We welcome you to support this Four Seasons group. Event canceled: We were planning a fun night of music nostalgia with "Name that Tune" on July 30 but had to cancel due to conflicts. It will be planned again in the future. We are tentatively reviewing options for 2023 including a spring show of 50s and 60s music, a fall show, and for Christmas, "A Christmas Carol Gone Wrong." I'm also considering having strolling carolers during the holidays. If you're interested, please call me. Join us at the August PAC meeting to share your ideas and offer input. Get on the mailing list if you are not already. If you have questions or you wish to be involved, contact Marianne Bugni, PAC Coordinator, (920) 517-2739 or email lamarib77@gmail. com. "Words make you think. Music makes you feel. A song makes you feel a thought." - Yip Harberg. ~ Marianne Bugni Performing Arts Club Travel Group For those of you who did not attend the July meeting, I would like to introduce myself. I am Joni Truelsen, the new Chairperson of the Travel Group. Some of you already know me as I used to help Irene out with the group. Irene has decided to step back. I know I have some big shoes to fill, so please be patient with me. I have some big plans and there will be a couple of changes made. It seems more of our members are ready to start traveling again, at least on day trips for now. Lucky for us ACT Tours and Silver Lining have some great trips coming up over the next few months. For information on upcoming trips, call ACT at (760) 322- 1247 or call Silver Lining at (951) 929-6230. And speaking of trips, a great time was had by those who went to the Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament. We also enjoyed the Pageant of the Masters — the shopping was fun, the displays were great, the kids section was awesome, and the Pageant was absolutely incredible. It is something everyone should see at least once in their lifetime. Any questions or comments, call Joni Truelsen at (661) 390-5512 or email jonitruelsen@yahoo.com. So as the saying goes "so many trips, so little time." Enjoy life and travel. ~ Joni Truelsen
