64 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | AUGUST 2022
Recently our 4x4 Seasons Group took a group of 11 Jeeps to the
Morton Peak fire lookout station. Scott Snyder was Trail Boss for this
run and led us on a great day run. We even met up with the Four
Seasons Motorcycle Club on the way up the hill.
Our group left Four Seasons at 8 am sharp. We traveled through
Oak Glen and into the Angeles Oaks area. Scott had us at the lookout
station about 10 am. The views are spectacular. He then took us to
the upper Santa Ana River, and we lunched at the Seven Oaks Dam.
A great day was had by all and I chuckle to say, "With the price of gas,
this was a four-gallon day."
If this looks like fun to you, please feel free to join us at one of our
meetings or day runs. We meet on the second Tuesday each month
in the RCN Conference Room and usually meet in The Lodge parking
lot on the second Thursday each month for our day run. With the
summer weather upon us, we will likely be exploring the local
mountain area until fall.
