8 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | OCTOBER 2022 | It is finally October and we have gone through yet another record- breaking hot summer. The landscaping survived well with the exception of some dry grass patches here and there but nothing major, many thanks to Artistic Maintenance who are consistently doing a fine job. We are fortunate to have reclaimed water installed in most of our common areas and the West Legends; it is far less expensive than potable water and more plentiful. We welcome Pamela Hayter as the Facilities Liaison to our Committee. This coordination between the Facilities and Landscape Committees will help both on the various projects where there may be an overlap of responsibilities. Currently, the Facilities Committee is working on installing new benches along World Cup and Four Seasons Blvd. The coordination can include ensuring that the irrigation system around the benches is functional and seeing if the area needs some plants. We have included a photo of a bench that has been in place along Four Seasons Blvd. for some time. We see residents sitting on the benches and enjoying the scenery around Four Seasons. The pots in The Lodge entrance have now been planted with flowers and ferns and are very attractive. Thank you to Artistic and Landscape Committee member Bob Frahm who has many years of commercial landscaping experience working in the San Jacinto Valley. We welcome Debra Stafford and Michelle Loma, new members to the Landscape Committee. We look forward to their contributions and as new members bring fresh ideas and a new perspective. Finally, newer residents in the Legends may not be aware of the need to use a Landscape Request Form when there is a concern or issue that needs attention to the front or back of the home landscaping areas.
