This is the perspective of the artist of the month, Laurie
Wolfenden: I think creativity is central to all of our lives. The
ultimate act of creativity is having and raising children. Art is
an obvious and visual act of creating. For me it gives purpose
and meaning to my life. I love watching a painting evolve from
a blank canvas to a piece of art. I love watching my classmates
discover their own creativity. It is so much fun seeing the delight
of our discovery: new class members and those of us who have
been involved with many forms of creating together for the sheer
joy of art. There is no true start or finish with art… it is a voice
within that is heard, for as long as we create. Rob Kelman is a
wonderful mentor who will help guide you along the path. It
is lots of fun. So, if you want to come and discover more about
yourself, join us.
Classes are Mondays 10 am to 12 noon and/or Wednesdays
6 to 8 pm. There is a nominal $5 fee per person, per session. If
