FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2022 61 Your Four Season 8-Ball Club is practicing Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 6:30 to 9 pm. We hold a meeting on the first Wednesday of the month, an 8-Ball tournament on the second Wednesday of the month, and a 9-Ball tournament on the fourth Wednesday of the month. We are back on schedule to be playing two additional 8-Ball tournaments each month with Solera Oak Valley, one there on the second Monday of the month and one here on fourth Monday of the month. The results are in for the month of July as we played two tournaments with Solera Oak Valley. Congratulations to Solera they came away with the wins again. Solera is located at 1615 Fairway Drive in Beaumont. The August in-house 8-Ball tournament had 14 players compete. The final match came down to Leo Babin and Jim Kelley. Jim Kelley went undefeated to meet up with Leo for the second time in the night. Jim continued his winning streak and came away the winner. Congratulations to Jim Kelley this month's 8-ball champion and Leo Babin runner up. The July in-house 9-Ball tournament had eleven players compete. Larry Rice went undefeated to win the tournament. For the second time this month Leo Babin was in the final match for the championship. Leo Babin is getting to be a regular in making to the final. Congratulations to Larry Rice 9-Ball tournament champion and Leo Babin runner-up. If you're new to the game or have played before, don't be shy stop by, pick up a stick and give us a try. Walk in and ask for Del, Larry, or any of the members playing. The 8-Ball Club is always looking for new members who would like to learn and play pool to join us.
