FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2022 65 The Four Seasons Motorcycle Club (MC) has some special events scheduled that will be reported on in more detail in upcoming Breeze articles. For now, just know that Sept. 16 is National POW/MIA Recognition Day and the MC is honored to once again lead the procession to the Redlands cemetery for the solemn event. On a lighter note, Nov. 12 is the date of the upcoming Four Seasons Car Show. This event is actually the undertaking of the Four Seasons Cars and Coffee Club and a few months back they asked if the MC would like to help out with organizing the event. We answered with an enthusiastic yes! The car show will take place in The Lodge parking lot from 10 am to 2 pm. Cars, motorcycles, and 4x4s will be eligible to enter; details and registration forms are available at The Lodge front desk. By the way, the registration deadline is Oct. 3 so sign up and start polishing that special car, motorcycle, or 4x4 and we'll see you at the car show! On Oct. 3, we will be heading out for a four day ride on what we are calling the Arizona White Mountain ride. Five riders are signed up for this one and, if we get lucky, the weather should be perfect. The MC continues to head out on our Thursday rides. This summer has been particularly hot and recent fires to the north and south of us have made it almost impossible to get out for enjoyable rides. The good news is that cool fall weather is almost upon us and a lot of Thursday riding destinations will be available. If you ride and enjoy group riding, give us a try on one of our Thursday rides. It's a great way to meet some of the MC members. These rides are usually 150 to 200 miles in length (round- trip) including a stop for lunch. We aren't picky about what you ride — full touring rigs, cruisers, sport, adventure and trikes are all welcome. If you would like to learn more about the MC, give us a call. You can speak with Terry Humble, Pres. (909-706-2298), Jim Ayala, VP (951-392-6259) or Joe Bert, Sec (909-767-1484). ~ Jim Ayala Motorcycle Club This was on our recent Grand Canyon trip and the picture says it all.
