FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | NOVEMBER 2022 45 Country Line Dancing TUESDAY COUNTRY LINE DANCING Our annual Holiday Party is Nov. 12. There are still a few seats available. For $20, you will get a buffet dinner of Beef Tri-tip, Chicken Marsala, mashed potatoes, green beans, Waldorf salad, rolls, butter, carrot cake, and coffee or iced tea. Bring your own favorite beverage. Plus, you will hear a whole lot of good country music that will set your foot tapping. The deadline for payment is Nov. 3 at 5 pm. If interested, contact Martha at the number below. The very beginner class has now completed seven weeks of classes and have learned about twelve new dances. Most of them had no clue how to line dance at all, but have caught on and are having a good time with this new hobby. As a bonus, they got to meet some new friendly people. We will have a few more classes before the Christmas break and then resume classes in January. Our other classes continue to dance to old favorites while learning new dances. Once again, a big thank you to the Westbrooks and the Streubers for teaching some new dances. After all, we need to challenge our minds as well as our feet. Dancing is a wonderful exercise because it doesn't feel like you are exercising. Your mind thinks you are just having fun with friends. ~ Martha Franck, marthafranck@icloud.com, (714) 345-8588 Let's Dance! November will be a special Social Dance Survival Camp! Have you always wanted to dance, or maybe dance on a cruise, but it seemed too tedious to learn? Maybe you want to just dance at a family member's or friend's wedding, but feel too intimidated to get up there and dance? Or are you tired of being the one just sitting there, when others are out dancing and having fun? If so… this is the class for you. We will show you how to do some easy moves that you can master quickly. So you can have fun, feel at ease, and feel like you've been dancing most of your life. You'll learn easy to do and specific steps so you can finally get up there and dance! We are doing something completely unique… You will have teaching partners that will help you individually. These are our advanced students that have been dancing for a while, and they will be alongside to coach you in the basics. Additionally, you'll have top pro teachers to guide you through some simple techniques so you can dance with your spouse, or even feel confident enough to dance with your children or friends at events. While this is not going to make you look like "Fred and Ginger," you will look smooth and confident by the time the class is over. You don't want to miss this very special and unique opportunity. Please come join us in November even if you just want to get ready for the holidays. This November, "Survival Dance Camp" will meet in The Lodge Ballroom on Mondays from 6 to 7:30 pm. There is a special class from 7:30 to 8 pm for only advanced students. The cost is only $10 per person for professional instruction. For more information, please contact Sue Condurachi (951) 381-4049 or Brian Fusilier (909) 215-2778. See you on the dance floor!. ~ Lisa Johnson
