46 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | NOVEMBER 2022 Fall is in the air and the holidays are fast approaching! Your Taste d'Vine Wine Club has a plan to help you navigate the wines to serve and possible gift ideas for your friends and family. Wildwood Oak Winery is owned by Tony and Anita Matlock and located in Yucaipa. Anita is one of a few female winemakers in California and enjoys sharing her award winning wines. Join us Nov. 17 (we meet the third Thursday of each month) in the Ballroom. Doors open at 5:15 pm with the meeting starting at 6 pm. Please bring a favorite wine to share with your table, along with an appetizer such as crackers, cheese or fruit. Also, please bring two glasses for tasting. The cost is $5 for members and $10 for resident guests. Look for your Bacchus Letter via email for any further information! For info, please contact Gracy Luna at (951) 292-3624. ~ Gracy Luna Taste d'Vine Four Seasons Singers If you would like to join the Singers, would like to be included in my email list, or if you have questions about the Four Seasons Singers, call (951) 797-3466 or email me at bawasco@dc.rr.com. ~ Barbara Wasco Hand Bell Choir Have you ever thought that YOU could ADOPT A BELL? Now you can. For only $50 you can say, "I had a part in purchasing hand bells for Four Seasons." You can pick which bell you want (we will keep it for you). Your name will be published and you will have a chance to ring "your" bell at our concerts. So far, we have at least eight bells that have been "adopted." The following people have seen the wisdom in helping Four Seasons to own the bells. John Horning (thanks to John for the idea), Marianne and Mike Bugni, Laurie Neliboff, Lois White, Niles Sundstrom, and Wayne and Cheryl Staples. The original price given to us a year ago was $5,000. The church selling them has reduced the price to $3,500. We have already sent them a check for $1,000 from the donations at our concerts. We will still gladly accept those donations at our concerts. Checks should be made out to the Performing Arts Club with Adopt-a-Bell on the memo line. Some of us plan to be in The Lodge lobby on Thursday afternoons from 4 to 4:30 pm during November and December if you would like to stop by. Our Christmas concert and Sing-a-long is scheduled for Dec. 22. Mark your calendar! We had a great Patriotic concert in August.
