FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | NOVEMBER 2022 47 The Four Seasons Rainbow Group continues in our mission to support the local residents who identify as LGBTQ+ and anyone else interested in our community. We usually meet on the fourth Thursday of the month in the Ballroom. We introduce new members, share stories or news that might be of interest to the membership, occasionally hold potlucks, and host LGBT-themed movie nights. We will gladly entertain ideas from anyone. If you haven't signed up for our email list or feel that you did but are not receiving mail, please contact us at rainbowgroup@myyahoo.com. Lastly, if you haven't already joined our Four Seasons Beaumont Rainbow Facebook group, please do so. Both avenues will keep you updated on any late-breaking developments, events and details of our monthly activity. ~ David Esquerre Rainbow Group Platonic Pals Hey Pals! We're back, and just in time for the holidays. We also changed our meeting day and time as you requested. Our meetings are on the first Tuesday of the month at 1 pm in the RCN Main Room. Our next meeting is Nov. 1 at 1 pm. Members, come out and join us and let's get reacquainted. If you are new to Four Seasons and are alone or have a partner who doesn't like going places but you want someone with whom to go shopping, the movies, lunch or dinner, or just hang out, join us and maybe we can find you a pal. For more information, call Joni Truelsen at (661) 390-5512 or email at jonitruelsen@yahoo.com. I look forward to seeing you all again. ~ Joni Truelsen Early next year, the Photography Club will return to in-person meetings. It's time to take the Club in a new direction. We plan to focus on cell phone photography for the first meetings. We would love to hear your ideas. Please send us your thoughts or join us for our twice-a-month Work-Study Group via Zoom meetings. With the coming of the new year, people are looking for new or renewed interests. Howard Levine is developing our cell phone presentation. We will explain the various types of cell phones and their capabilities. It will also cover using the cell phone through good photo techniques and post-editing. If you have a photography question, you are always welcome to join us. Contact Jacque Sneddon for meeting times and dates for the Work-Study Group. This month's photos are two cell phone photographs from two very different photographers. One is from a professional photographer, and one is from a casual travel photographer. The casual travel photographer is my wife, Janice Lehman, who does not want to hear anything technical about photography; she just wants to take photos of our travels or grandkids. If you have not received our emails, contact Jacque at jacquesneddon@gmail.com. She will be glad to add you to the mailing list. ~ John Baeyertz, johnbz1453@gmail.com Photography Club Janice Lehman - Bloedel Reserve, Washington State Howard Levine - Desert Ghost Tree
