Am I jealous? No. I would love for him, or anyone else with a brilliant idea, to submit their idea for Get the Joke. I think people living in Sun Lakes are very clever and witty not to mention attractive. Will flattery get me anywhere? Last month in our secret contest, I asked for pictures of the Lifestyles Magazine hanging out somewhere in the community. I got two clever submission from Sharon Robinson and Laurie Williams (see page 20). They won the super-cool secret contest that is guaranteed to result in a package showing up with something unbelievable inside. For this month's secret contest, send me a self-portrait. That was a good one for I was really getting worried with all the guidelines! Clever clever. Very creative to say the least. Gave me a chuckle. Susan C. I heard we were getting purple trash cans for all the wine bottles here in Sun Lakes! Jack R. I'm not going to be able to fit my car in the garage with all these various containers! Sharon R. The article is absurd and very funny. Donna S. I laughed out loud at Mr. Polcino's clever "article." His outrageous statements first took me by surprise, but I quickly realized it was all "tongue-in-cheek." I appreciate good satire and especially enjoyed his description of the correct angle placement of bins on the curb, placing oversized items in the orange bin, and painting black cans orange if you don't have one. If I had a 1950 Studebaker — I would NOT be parking it on the street! Thanks for the laugh. Jim H. Bought a new compass to get my angles correct! Good job! Valerie C.
