| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | DECEMBER 2022 | 15 Late Bloomers wishes everyone a very blessed and happy holiday season with friends and family. Our mountain trip to Julian in late October was well timed in order to prepare us for the much needed rain, and cooler weather we are now enjoying. To celebrate our Club and forever growing friendships, our Home/Garden holiday potluck on Nov. 14 was just what we needed to encapsulate the enjoyment of being out and about again, exploring gardens and nurseries together. For garden enthusiast "earth people," keeping us trapped in any lockdown environment stifles the very nature within us needing to be out IN nature. We are very thankful that is all behind us, and look forward to a new year of traveling! Until 2023, we have three more events to enjoy together… on Dec. 5 we will be traveling to Redlands to visit Kimberly Crest in lieu of our regular meeting, and on Thurs., Dec. 15 we will be sharing with our community friends the Holiday Luncheon in the Ballroom. On Fri., Dec. 16 we will head back to Cherry Valley to the Lavender Fields, which we visited in June, learning all about the plant, species, and lavender infusion of oils, botanicals and culinary. The Lavender Festival of Lights sells out every year, and from 5 to 10 pm one can enjoy the twinkling of over a million lights, confections of the season and Santa's Workshop. Visit Farm123.com for more information, and if interested, purchase your tickets/parking online for the 5 pm time slot. If you would like to join us on either of these excursions, please contact Sharon so we know to look for you during our scheduled rendezvous/carpool times. Sharing gardening tips, traveling together, learning from each other, and cultivating forever friendships are the blooms growing in our gardens. If you haven't already, make sure you add your email address to the community's eBlast list, (via The Lodge front desk). We communicate last minute trips, details and changes via this transmission. All Four Seasons residents are welcome to attend meetings and trips. For more information, please contact Sharon Deuber at (760) 500-0077 or email Sharon@BlackDiamondInvestments.net.
