| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | DECEMBER 2022 | 27 Golf Club From the President, Tom Moore: Before we put the wrapper on 2022, I have a few thoughts I'd like to share. First, I want to thank all the Board members: Susan Gaites, Vice President: You did a stellar job as Vice President, your work on the Police K-9 Benefit Tournament was fantastic! Thanks Susan. Joe Richmond, Treasurer: Don't put your pen away quite yet, we still have a few checks to write. Thanks Joe. Irene Becker, Secretary: I didn't fully appreciate what a difficult task it is to make sense of our meetings until I had to do it a couple of times. You do a GREAT JOB! Thanks Irene. Elliot Yaeger, Tournament Chair: I only get around 300 words per article, and I could spend all of that and more trying to convey my appreciation for what you, Fred Cahr, and Debbie Kosaka do to keep this club on course, but even that wouldn't be adequate. Thank you, Elliot. Chaz McManus, Membership Chair: Good job Chaz, Thanks to your efforts the club actually grew a bit. Thank you! Dominic Tassoni, Rules Chair: No controversies all year! Thank you Dominic. Bernie Sebzda, Handicap Chair: Great job making sure that all members (myself included) were posting their scores in a timely manner. Thanks Bernie. Larry Becker, Course Liaison: Excellent job working with the golf course management to improve course conditions. I especially appreciate your work on the Benefit Tournament. You and Meredith joining me at the Hemet City Council meeting meant more to me that you can imagine! Thank you BOTH! Debbie James, Social Chair: You arranged food, beverages, and entertainment for a cumulative total of approximately 300 members and I didn't hear a single complaint! Thank you and your committee for all that you did this year! And most important, thanks to you, the general membership for all your support and suggestions throughout the year. Without your input, we couldn't do what we do! Congratulations to the Club Championship Winners from our tournament in October: Low Gross Score: Bernie Sebzda, Low Net Score: Susan Gaites.
