We're having a good time playing Hand & Foot every Tuesday at 1 pm in the Card Room. You're invited to come and join us. Christmas will be upon us in no time. The Bunco Babes will be celebrating the festive holidays on Dec. 16 with a full homemade Italian dinner made by its members. Last month we had our Halloween dress up party. It was lots of fun. We are hoping with the new year right around the corner you might like to join us in playing bunco. We have lots of fun and make lots of noise in the process. It has been a successful bunco year. We would like to thank all our members and Julie Rodriguez for leading this group and for its success. Hand & Foot Calling all card players and especially Hand & Foot card players: are you a new resident and looking for an afternoon of fun? Come join us once a week. Even if you have never played the game, we can teach you quickly. Our group meets every Wednesday at 12:30 pm in the Multipurpose Room at The Lodge. There is no fee. Come as you are. I'm hearing a lot of chatter and laughter at the tables; everyone seems to be enjoying themselves and that makes me very happy. It's also a fun way to meet new people or reconnect with some you haven't seen in a while. So, if you've never played Mexican Train, don't let that keep you away. It's a game played with dominoes and it's very easy to learn. We play on Tuesday evenings at 6 pm in The Lodge Multipurpose Room and would love to see more newcomers at the tables. Mah-Jongg Club The MahJongg Club invites you to join us and enjoy playing this game which dates back hundreds of years. If you are curious about the game, come and learn how to play! If you are an experienced player who is new to our community, please come and join our group. We play every Monday and Thursday from 1 to 3 pm in the Multipurpose Room. If you want to learn how to play, we have written instructions, and someone is always available to teach you. You are welcome to come and observe anytime we are playing. We also have birthday luncheons, holiday parties and other get-togethers throughout the year.
