We're jumping right into festivities with the Holiday Golf Cart Parade on Friday, Dec. 2 at 5:30 pm in front of The Lodge. Line up starts at 5 pm and judging will take place at 5:15 pm. At 7 pm, you're invited to the Ballroom to enjoy our live musical program featuring Daniel Senna, the Four Seasons Strolling Carolers, and the Beaumont Music School Musicians (ages 5 to 15 years old). Stop by The Lodge desk and pick up a free ticket. Just ask for the Friday Music Program tickets. There will only be 300 tickets available (theater seating, no tables). The Bistro is also going to be offering a holiday dinner special, so you could have dinner and a show. The official Holiday Extravaganza shows will be on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 6 pm and Sunday, Dec. 4 at 1:30 pm. The show is Mike Cano's Comedic Holiday Hilarity Show. We are asking that you wear your best ugly sweater. We'll be having an ugly sweater contest with prizes, so be sure to dress to win! The Bistro will be having a special dinner on Saturday and a special holiday lunch on Sunday. There will be 300 free tickets offered per night. You may only pick up tickets for one night and you must have a ticket to get in. This is going to be such a fun way to start the holiday spirit. Hope to see you there! Now to make your season bright… the Neighborhood Outdoor Light Competition is on Wednesday, Dec. 14. Please be sure to fill out the Light Competition Address form so we can mark your house on the map to guide residents and the judges through the community. Have your lights on from 5 to 8 pm for judging. We will call you if you win and will announce the winners on the Daily Report on Friday, Dec. 16. I love it when the community shines for the season. It's so beautiful! Maps will be available at The Lodge on Dec. 13 so you can find your way around. Karaoke is Saturday, Dec. 17 at 5:30 pm. Stay tuned for more info from Dave Rohrbacker on any themes he might be promoting for that special night. Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 7 pm in the Ballroom will be the Jewish Social Club's Hanukkah Party! This is for the whole community and will be featuring your favorite Christmas and Hanukkah songs. The guest entertainment for the night is Perry Goldstein's Orange Jews of Orange County, Orange County's premier Jewish Rock band who mix music with comedy. They will be serving a dessert reception with coffee and tea. BYOB. The cost for this party is only $5. For tickets, contact Nancy Justice at (951) 769-5804. Finally, we have the Four Seasons Bell Choir and Holiday Sing- Along on Thursday, Dec. 22 at 6 pm in The Lodge Ballroom. Come and relieve any holiday stress you may have by singing your heart out with your neighbors. The bells make such a gorgeous sound you won't want to miss them. There is no cost to attend.
