Welcome 2023! Our mission is to provide live theatre to our residents, and we will. Our dedicated Program Coordinator, Lisa Malec, promises to bring us exciting and enlightening entertainment in the coming year, including singers, dancers, comedians, theatre and storytelling. Keep your eyes, ears and email open for details! Sadly, our winter party was canceled, but Ros Nesler, party princess supreme, will come up with some great ideas for our next party. Do Dues Day is Jan. 14, and we will be there! Please visit our table, chat with the committee members and join Theatre Arts or renew your membership. We hope all new (and old) members will involve themselves in our worthy and creative activities. Sally Benton's Encore Players' classes are Wednesdays, from 1 to 3 pm. Check with the desk as to room assignment. All Theatre Arts members are welcome to attend. Please contact Sally (moki2@cox. net) for information. Our next regular Board meeting will be Wed., Jan. 18, 2023, at 11 am, in a room to be assigned. Regular Board meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month at 11 am, and are open to all Theatre Arts members, so please do come and join us. From Page to Stage. Duke Sertitude thinks no one can resist his charms. That is, until he meets…THE DOWAGERS! On Feb. 6 at 7 pm in Abravanel Hall, come see how a new play is developed, starting with an interactive table read with OHCC actors. The playwright, Aleta Barthell, and director, Trish Collins, will be hosting the evening. They will discuss the development of this new comedy, which was written specifically for OHCC Theatre Arts. Members only, please… Join Theatre Arts so you can participate in all of our entertainment and activities. Our annual dues are $12. Make your check payable to "OH Theatre Arts" and bring it to the front desk. Include your name, address, email, and phone number on the check. Don't forget to check out our website: http://www.ohccdg.wixsite. com/theatrearts. The computer room in the Clubhouse is available to all residents whenever the Clubhouse is open. The room is usually locked when no one is using it. To get access, just ask for the key at the front desk. The person who gets the key is responsible for returning it. It is okay to leave and return the key if there still is anyone in the room. The last person in the room should turn off the lights and shut the door. The room contains four MACs and four PCs. All have Internet access and frequently used software has been installed for your use. Please do not download software or apps to any of the machines. Also, do not store any personal data on any of the machines. Please restart the machine when you are done to ensure all your data has been removed and the machine is back up and running for the next person. There are also printers available for your use in the room. Please do not take advantage of our ink and paper supplies and print an excessive number of pages. TAG offers technical help sessions when anybody can come into the computer room and request assistance.
