Highlights of the October financial statements are: Total Cash is $11,640,437 including operating cash of $2,188,288 (checking and CDs) and reserve assets of $9,452,149. We are at total year-to-date net income of $56,094. It is 2023, a new year, and maybe your resolution includes getting more involved in our community. Homeowners are welcome to join us at the Finance Committee's regularly scheduled monthly meetings held on the last Tuesday of each month. Our next meeting will be Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2023, at 1 pm. I would encourage all residents to become more familiar with the finances of our fantastic community. We would love to hear about your concerns and encourage you to share them with us. Attending a meeting only takes a little time and will give you a better understanding of how we operate. Come and join us in making this a thriving vibrant community. Please check your Daily Report for the meeting location. ~ Jolene Cooley, joleneaudit@gmail.com Safety Committee SAFETY 4 "ALL" SEASONS Happy New Year, friends. The Safety Committee hopes everyone has a safe and healthy 2023. Wet and Cold Weather Safety Tips: The winter season brings with it wet and cold weather. While we do not experience the heavy rainfall and extreme cold temperatures found in many areas of the United States, we can take steps to adjust to the damp and often cold conditions we will be experiencing. Slips and falls create the greatest risk we encounter as rain makes our walking surfaces slippery. Keep in mind that early morning dew or sprinkler runoff can make for slippery conditions. These wet surfaces may freeze during the colder nights causing icy conditions. The following tips can help you stay on your feet: • Check your shoes and walking boots. Worn shoe treads decrease your slip resistance on wet and icy surfaces. • Check your path of travel and be alert to what lies ahead. • Be extra cautious when crossing streets. Vehicles require more time to slow down on wet roads. • Slow down your walking pace while traversing on wet or icy surfaces and be extremely careful on stairs. We would love to have you join our committee! If you're interested in helping to make Four Seasons a safer community, please consider joining the Safety Committee. No prior safety experience is required, only a desire to contribute to the enhancement of our neighborhood. Yes, you can make a difference! As a reminder, Safety Committee meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month at 10 am in the RCN Conference Room. We encourage you to join the meeting should you have any concerns or if you would simply like an update on our ongoing safety projects. All the best. ~ Frank Hilberg, hilberg frank@gmail.com
