GALA INSTALLATION DINNER
Join us for our highlight of the year – YCC's
Annual Installation Dinner – on Wed., Jan.
11, 2023 at 6 pm in the Ballroom of the Main
Clubhouse. We are delighted to present the Emmy
Award winning and Golden Globe nominee
writer/comedian Monica Piper. Monica's
critically acclaimed one-woman play Not That
Jewish played off-Broadway for a successful
seven-month run. When she is not in Los
Angeles, she performs around the nation with
her biological blend of stand up and storytelling
as she continues to explore her roots and present
life today. Monica will share excerpts from "Still
Farmisht, Farkempt and Farblungit!" - a hilarious
and heart-warming blend of comedy which will
leave you laughing out loud, teary-eyed and
happy.
We will start the evening with the Installation
Ceremony, where our new Board will be installed.
Following the Ceremony, a scrumptious dinner
will be served to you at your reserved table by
our Sun Lakes restaurant staff. The menu will
include your choice of Tri-Tip, Chicken Piccata, or
Salmon, along with plated salad, rolls, scalloped
potatoes, haricot verts (French green beans),
coffee, tea and chocolate cake. (If you BYO, there's
a $7.50 corkage fee.) The YCC subsidizes the
event to bring the cost down to $25/members and
$30/guests. Please deliver your check payable to
YCC to Ellie Fixman at 5081 Rio Bravo by the Jan.
4 deadline. Reservation flyers are in the rack by
the reception desk at the Main Clubhouse. We
are looking forward to celebrating this wonderful
evening with you.
