The Sun Lakes Country Club Homeowners Association Annual Meeting of the Membership and Election of Directors will be held on Wed., April 12, 2023, at 9 am, in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom (850 Country Club Drive, Banning, CA 92220). There will be three open positions on the Board of Directors. The two elected directors, with the highest number of votes, will serve a two-year term. The elected director, with the third highest number of votes, will serve a one-year term. Any homeowner interested in running for the Board of Directors should fill out a Candidacy Form. The Candidacy Form will be available in the Administration Office beginning Mon., Jan. 9, 2023, and must be returned no later than 5 pm on Wed., Feb. 8, 2023. The Inspector of Election will review each Candidacy Form it receives and place all eligible candidates on the ballot. A "Meet the Candidates" forum will be conducted in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. Members will be given the opportunity to ask candidates, running for the Board, questions. The Forum will be held on Wed., March 1, 2023, at 4 pm. The Member of Record date is Wed., Feb. 15, 2023, and ballots will be mailed to each homeowner on Fri., March 10, 2023. Election information will be posted on the Sun Lakes website www. sunlakescc.com and on the bulletin board in the Main Clubhouse adjacent to the receptionist desk. 2023 Sub Association Elections The sub-association elections will be conducted in March 2023. Fairway Villas Community Association – Tues., March 14, 2023 Lakeside II Community Association – Thurs., March 23, 2023 Lakeside Community Association – Fri., March 24, 2023 Candidacy forms are now available in the administration office for sub-association members interested in running for the Board.
