This week the Ambassadors will be delivering Welcome Books
to new residents who registered from Nov. 1, 2022 through Dec. 31,
2022. If you did not request a visit and a Welcome book anytime
during 2022 and would like one, please see Monica Garcia at the
office. She will give us your contact information and we will prepare
a Welcome book for you.
If you enjoy meeting new neighbors, the New Resident Welcome
Advisory Committee is looking for new ambassadors. If you are an
owner-resident, we invite you to attend our next committee meeting
on Fri., Feb. 24 at 1 pm, in Oakmont 3, to see who we are and what
we do. If interested in joining, please complete a Volunteer Interest
form and submit it at the office. We meet on the fourth Friday of
the month at 1 pm. We also sponsor our Social Gathering the last
Wednesday of October and April each year.
Many things are happening this time of year. Applications are now
being accepted for three positions on the Board of Directors. They
must be submitted by March 6, 2023.
The ballots will be mailed mid-April and the Annual Meeting of
Members, when the ballots are counted, will be May 17, 2023.
There will be a Town Hall Meeting regarding the Greenbelt this
month. This plan is one that will include many new activities, and
features, while reducing the turf by 52 percent. This project will
certainly add value to our community.
I would like to recognize the ambassadors of this committee
and express appreciation for their hard work and dedication to our

Theresa Lantz, Joanne Larson, Mary Mehlman, Becky Spalding, Sarah
