FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | FEBRUARY 2023 9
Now that the holidays have passed, the case activities before the
court are moving along. Pass Action Group (PAG) has submitted
their brief to the court on Dec. 9, 2022. Now the City of Banning and
Creation Equity have until Feb. 7, 2023 to file a response brief to Judge
Reimer.
Then on March 9 the Pass Action Group (PAG) will reply to the
response brief. This reply will also be to Judge Reimer.
After submission of the briefs and responses to the court, Judge
Reimer will set a hearing date, possibly in April or May.
There will be a Town Hall meeting on Feb. 7 in the Sun Lakes
Ballroom where the Pass Action group (PAG) will update the
community and many supporters. We will list the Town Hall meeting
in our Daily Report when the time of the meeting is confirmed.
The preparation of the case by attorneys from the Pass Action
Group and the research required is a time consuming and costly part
of the court case.
Additional fundraising events are being planned by PAG at this
time. Watch for the information on the upcoming fundraising events
in our Daily Report website and, if time permits, the Breeze magazine.
Online donations can be made at www.givebutter.com/
passactionroupbanning.
The Pass Action Group's Board of Directors thank all who have
supported and continue to support the efforts to overturn the
warehouse proposal.
