We had two duplicate bridge clubs in Ocean Hills "The Founders
Duplicate Bridge" and "The Friday Duplicate Bridge." Our members
voted to unite both the clubs under the new name of OHCC Bridge
Club.
In December, new officers were elected by 20 members using a
hybrid voting system (in person, online, and text). The new officers
are President: Casey Shoenhard, Vice President: Diane Hillman,
Treasurers: Bette Webb and Irma Maston, Secretary: Kannan Dan.
Membership: Mary Sullivan.
We will start new bridge lessons in March. We will have two
classes, beginning bridge and advanced bridge. The beginning
bridge classes are open to any residents and do not require any prior
knowledge. The advanced classes are limited to our members. These
classes are taught by residents who are accomplished bridge players.
If you are interested, please contact any of the officers or the club at
OhccBridgeClub@gmail.com.
We have duplicate bridge games every Tuesday at 5 pm, and at 1
pm on some Fridays (second, third and fifth) at the Clubhouse. Our
membership is open to all residents of Ocean Hills. Our annual dues
are $10. If you need a partner, please contact Casey Shoenhard at
(918) 605-1553.

Tai Chi originated in ancient China as one of its martial arts, the gentle one. It consists of exercises totally performed on one's feet while
the body generally moves in serenity. Classes have been meeting at OHCC twice a week for almost a decade.
The classes were initiated by Lai Mei and Dennis Strauss who still participate in them and keep track of their maintenance. There is no
formal teaching, one learns and performs by following a video placed in front of the class.
