The Makua Hula dancers enjoyed performing for you on Activities Day in January. It was wonderful seeing so many residents inquiring about the various activities offered in our wonderful community. We look forward to performing for you in That's Entertainment at the end of the month. Always hoping to see you at our functions. Get your tickets! Members of Makua Hula also had the opportunity to accept an invitation to perform at a special engagement in the Las Vegas area. Traveling out of state to share our hula dancing with others was a privilege and an exciting experience. Our group performed E Ku'u Sweet Lei Poina Ole and Nohili E, along with solo performances from each of our members. Perla Williams shared the meaning of various hula gestures with the audience. Encouraging the audience to follow along with her proved to be a joyful experience. If you are interested in having us perform for your event,or would like more information about our group, contact Perla Williams at (951) 467-8339 or at pearlyshellsdancer@gmail.com.
