Handbell Sponsors: Seven Sponsorship Spots Available 48 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2023 Happy March. Spring is in the air. At least I hope so since I'm typing this in February. The wine industry continues to evolve. We have seen some changes in 2022 and will continue to see changes in 2023. One trend that we noticed in 2022 was wine delivery. That trend started in 2020 but has continued. Another trend is wine in cans. Boxed wine has been around for some time but now we can get wine in cans. I personally will pass but I can see the appeal, especially in the summer around the pool. Finally, cannabis-infused wine — it was bound to happen. The wine industry will continue to evolve. But know this; the best wine is the wine you have in your glass. For our March meeting we are pleased to have Ben Mozaffari, the owner of Uptown Wine Merchant in Yucaipa. Uptown Wine Merchant is a wine shop and wine bar where you can purchase bottles to go or enjoy a glass of wine in the shop. Ben will be pouring some of his best-selling wines. ~ Gino Domico, gdomico@gmail.com Taste d'Vine Four Seasons Singers If you would like to join us, would like to be included in my email list, or have questions about the Four Seasons Singers, call (951) 797-3466 or email me at bawasco@dc.rr. com. ~ Barbara Wasco Classical Music Club We are classical music lovers with an interest in sharing our love of, knowledge about, and interest in classical music. We meet on the second Thursday of each month at 7 pm in The Lodge Theater. We listen to and watch musical selections on the big screen. Each month we focus on a particular work or several selections of one composer. We also discuss current musical performances in the area. We welcome new members. As you can see, ALL of our first 49 bells have been "adopted." We have paid them off! The church where we got them has given us another octave of lower and bigger bells. If you still want to adopt-a-bell, you have another chance. Let me know. Looking forward to seeing you at our next concert on April 28. We have started working on some pop music. ~ Kathie Sundstrom, kathryn.buck@ comcast.net or (303) 903-6850
