The Spring Craft Show is Sat., March 11. In February, we held our Annual Room Reservations meeting, Comedy Night, and the LifeStream Blood Drive. Our Swingin' 60s Top of The Pops and Switchback concerts are this month. For more information, flyers are provided for you in the Main Clubhouse Lobby, the Lifestyles Magazine, Sun Lakes website, and Channel 97. March is a great month with St. Patrick's Day and March Madness, for all of you basketball fans. So Happy St. Patrick's Day to you and may the luck of the Irish be with you! But for Sun Lakes BINGO fans, our games will be played on March 14, 21, and 28. Every week we have many winners at Bingo. We play 12 regular and three special games. Guests can play all 15 games for as little as $7 for the whole evening. Many cash prizes and door prizes are won each week. Remember cash only - no checks or credit cards. Doors open at 4:30 pm, games start at 6 pm and games are over by 8:45 pm. Just come, win, and yell BINGO LOUDLY AND CLEARLY. In addition, the Restaurant & Lounge staff provide dinner and libations. Director Thomas and Chef Chris provide us a different entree every week. The restaurant staff is the best! Only Sun Lakes member cards or CC are accepted for food and drinks. Any questions? If you have a suggestions, send a note via the "Message to Management" box in the Main Clubhouse Lobby or on the Sun Lakes website. If you have Food & Beverage experience and would like to join us, please fill out a Volunteer Application in the Main Clubhouse Lobby activities rack. Hopefully you are staying abreast of news from our Committee and the Marketing Committee through the SLCC website, Channel 97, and Facebook. The new Restaurant, Lounge, and Sandwedge hours are in this magazine and on the community bulletin boards. There are lots of special happenings planned for this month. In the Lounge, there will be March Madness all month long with special March Madness Tailgater bar menu. The March Madness basketball tournament starts March 12 and all games will be aired in the Lounge. Whether you're Irish or not, you won't want to miss Irish Week March 14 through March 19. Our Restaurant will be serving something "Irish" each day. Get your green on! Make your reservations early for St. Patrick's Day, Fri., March 17 from 4:30 to 8 pm. You won't want to miss the all- you-can-eat Irish buffet with "all of your favorites… corned beef and cabbage, Gaelic chicken, Shepherds pie, bangers and mash, and Irish soda bread. The cost is $21.95 pp. There will also be a special dinner menu in the Restaurant with a few regular menu items and several Irish favorites. All day in the Lounge you can order your favorite Irish appetizers with specialty drinks including Green Beer, Nutty Irishman, Irish Mule, and Leprechaun Martini.
