Golf Club From the Secretary- Irene Becker: The last part of February and the beginning of March brought wet and snowy weather to our area. We appreciate the water – its so needed! Hopefully we'll begin to dry out in March and playing conditions will be improved. We congratulate the Winners of the President's Cup tournament, held in February: Flight A: First Place: Bill Swinney; Second Place: Bob Morriss; Third Place: Javier Parada; Fourth Place: Joe Richmond Flight B: First Place: Mike Eoff; Second Place: Ron Hulme; Third Place: Tom Vaughn; Fourth Place: Wayne Stumpf Our condolences go out to family and friends of Bob Prescott, a former member of our club and community, who passed away in February. He will be missed by the many friends and club members he played golf with here at Four Seasons. Our Upcoming Tournament in May is honoring another Club member, Gary Sopata, who passed away last year. A former President of the club and avid golfer, he is being recognized for his contributions by having the tournament this year named after him: The Gary Sopata Memorial Competition: Eclectic Tournament. We wish everyone good luck in the competition. On a personal note, I want to recognize Elliot Yaeger, who is at the Clubhouse early to get things started on Tuesday, keeps track of who is playing weekly and ensuring what ever game is played, has enough in the flights for the day, and publishes results of weekly games in record time. A thank you to Debbie Kosaka who takes over for Elliot when he isn't available. Both devote countless hours to this job. Without these two, we would not have the set up of the variety of games, and keeping track of the details needed to keep our games running smoothly. Thank you!
