26 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | MAY 2023 | The talent of our Seasons Quilters is well displayed here in these photos. The "Row Houses," created by our one and only Diane Best, demonstrate why we formed this Club and wanted Diane to show us a thing or two! With spring and summer upon us, look for additional uplifting, and colorful masterpieces, quilted individually by our members. On Thurs., April 20 several of our members enjoyed this year's Cruisin Quilters 2023 Quilt Run. With seven shops to cruise through, our choicest route was difficult to choose. Narrowed down to four, with lunch together in between, we traversed south to San Diego and worked our way back. As usual, purchasing fabric and notions we did not need, but just had to have, because that's what Quilters DO! Our Member attendance continues to grow as we sew together, share creative ideas, travel Quilt Shops and enjoy each other's company twice a month. Our UFO's, (Unfinished Objects) continue to dominate as each of us work individually, together. Our May Club meetings will be Thurs., May 4 and Thurs., May 18 in the Arts & Crafts Room. Beginning at 10 am, we then break for lunch at the Bistro around 1 pm and return to continue sewing and visiting until 4 pm. Curiosity seekers are always welcome, and of course new members are actively encouraged! Seasons Quilters meets every first and third Thursday in the Arts & Crafts Room from 10 am to 4 pm. For more information about quilting, activities, fun projects and forming forever friendships through this wonderful hobby of quilting, stop by the Craft Room and see what's sewing! We would love to meet you. All Four Seasons Residents are welcome to meetings and excursions. For more Information, please contact Diane Best at (951) 816- 0449, dianequilts@verizon.net or Sharon Deuber at (760) 500-0077, YouDeserveIt@twc.com. Needle Me Our group is always looking for new inspirations and a yarn show is one of them. Recently some members went to one. They found new yarns, new crochet and knitting patterns, and lots of ideas to share. A couple of YARN CRAWLS in our area will be happening soon as well as a fall show in Pasadena. Come join us! Remember, our group is about more than just knitting and crocheting. There are so many different needlecrafts, and many of our ladies are proficient in more than one. Please feel free to stop by to see what projects we are all working on. We meet on the first and fourth Friday of each month in the Arts & Crafts Room at 1 pm, anyone is welcome. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact Bobbie Davis at (951) 223-3836 or Merilyn Burnside at (951) 658-8310. Happy Mother's Day!
