10 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | MAY 2023 | The Four Seasons Social Committee is pleased to introduce two new members: Sandy Lubbers and Judi Lewis. You may have already met Sandy when she sang, one of her many joys and talents, at a recent TGIF Karaoke. She has sung at weddings, public events (National Anthem at Quakes Stadium), and led a hundred voices children's choir. Sandy retired after 40+ years in professional development and fundraising, working for USC Doheny in that capacity for a number of years, followed by a lengthy stint with The Salvation Army, a similar position at Don Bosco Technical High School (Rosemead), and more recently with the Children's Fund (San Bernardino). Sandy is an experienced event planner for projects such as galas to golf tournaments. Having worked in the fundraising field, she understands outreaching, organizing, and working with volunteers. We look forward to learn from her experiences and work with her for the Four Seasons community. Judi recently relocated to Four Seasons from Kentucky. Her life experiences involve organizing and planning events, from trade show events and giveaways to weddings. As a hotel and restaurant manager, she supervised staff scheduling, event decorating, and overseeing the quality of service and safety for the patrons. Her time at Mercy Hospital, and the Education Department at Los Alamitos Hospital, involved reaching out and organizing volunteers for the success of the sponsored events. She has the enthusiasm in being involved with the Four Seasons community; and, you may have seen her at a recent TGIF Karaoke Friday event (not singing) serving her clam chowder. Here's a reminder of upcoming events: April 28, Bistro Special; April 29, On-site Shred Day; First Fridays' Karaoke and Potluck; Wednesdays' Bingo; May 6, Muy Bueno Cinco De Mayo; May 11, Team Sunshine Health Fair; May 13, Annual Community Yard Sale; May 14, Mother's Day Bistro; May 16, Music on the Plaza: Country; May 18, Author Talk; May 19, Meet your Supervisors and other County Resources; May 24, Open Session Board Meeting; May 26, Bistro Special; May 28, Vintage Voice Concert; and May 31, Team Sunshine 90th Birthday Celebration.
