It's nice to see the sun out so that we can improve our golf game. Great job! Our meeting and luncheon days are the third Tuesday of each month at the South Clubhouse. Checks are due the Tuesday before and are $15. We emphasize fun and socializing while striving to improve our game and become more familiar with the rules of golf. We invite any new members to join us. The Sun Lakes Women's Golf Club plays 18 holes on the Championship Course every Thursday. Come join us! We are open to all women golfers who live in Sun Lakes. If you would like to "try before you buy" you may play twice with us and see how much fun we have! We play a variety of tournaments throughout the year including a few with the Sun Lakes Men's Club and a member-guest tournament with friends from other clubs. Our monthly meeting and luncheon is on the second Thursday of every month. This is a great way to meet other golfers and get to know the golf community. Lady Niners Lady Niners differ from other golfing groups. We play nine holes of golf every Thursday on the championship course. We carry handicaps so we can participate in other golf outings, both at Sun Lakes and away. Saturday Morning Golf Saturday Morning Golf hosted the Ladies Executive Golfers (LEGS) on April 1 to a 18 hole golf tournament. Format was a four-person scramble on the Executive Course and 52 players competed. Entry fee included three closest to the pin holes, one circle hole, and luncheon. The luncheon was catered by Thomas Catering at the North Clubhouse. The Easter-themed Clubhouse was decorated by Kellee (Jones) Parrish, Randy Eden, and Janie Daniels. Door prizes were awarded to eight lucky players. Door prizes were beautiful succulent fairy gardens created by Sierra Foster, granddaughter of John and Judy Jones. Donut holes were provided by Steve and Joy. Chung and coffee by Kris Terrell and Pam D'Arca. A big thank you to all who participated in the tournament and who work so hard to make it a success. Saturday Morning Golf is open to men and women resident golfers. We play 18 holes on Saturday mornings. We welcome all our Sun Lakes residents.
