By Tracie Rodgers July… and I celebrate a birthday this month! More than January 1st, this is time I take measure of where I am at with my latest goals. Some years are better than others. I survived another year. In my personal circle of friends, I am known for a couple things: my love of Christmas and the Fourth of July. As a kid in Idyllwild we would weave red, white and blue crepe paper in our bike spokes and ride down the parade route. As a teen we would get to Inspiration Pointe and watch over the Valley for the excitement of fireworks (we could see all the way to Moreno Valley). As a young adult I was instrumental in bringing the Fourth of July Parade back to the City of San Jacinto. As a mom, I have tried to instill the love I have for our country and the flag that represents it through my daily actions, and even more so on the Fourth of July. As a family we are so grateful to celebrate our independence and all the freedoms it affords us. My wish for you all is to find a way to celebrate. e Social Committee has worked hard to bring the community a great party. e Golf Cart Club will line up to bring the celebration to you and the Flag Angels once again will set up our flags to wave at us as we drive through the community. Let's not forget all the men and woman who have served to keep us free. Time to welcome our newest club! e Four Seasons Piano Club led by Dave Tuvim. e club will be putting a special concert on for the community in September. In the meantime, we can enjoy the beautiful music in e Lodge on the days the resident members share their talents with us. 4 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JULY 2023 | From Your Activities Director
