| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JULY 2023 | 3 General Manager's Message By Rick Ruth, CMCA It's July already! I want to pass along some very important information to all of you. Hemet Fire Department's "File of Life" is now available for FREE at e Lodge Desk. What is this? e File of Life (FOL) is a printed card with a magnetic holder provided free by Hemet Fire Dept. e card, filled out by each resident, includes important medical information such as emergency contacts, medical data, medical conditions, allergies and insurance on a simple form. Once filled out, fold it in thirds, put it in the File of Life Magnetic Holder, and put the holder on your refrigerator. First responders will look there for it. Hemet Fire Dept. paramedics responded to over 400 emergency calls in Four Seasons in 2022. e FOL contains critical information for these first responders. If every resident has the FOL on their refrigerator, Hemet Fire Department can render aid more quickly and effectively. Get one for every person in your home and keep it up-to-date. For more information, contact Healthy Living Club members David Tuvim at (626) 710-7163 or Paul Lavigne at (540) 255-3059. Home Maintenance: Please be reminded that home maintenance is ongoing as most of the homes are now 18+ years old. e property inspections that management performs will focus on homes in need of maintenance, painting, landscaping replacement etc. Please take a look at the exterior of your home and if it needs painting, please remember the ARC Standards: Before commencing with any alteration, modification, painting, landscaping, etc., residents must obtain written approval of the ARC. PLEASE GET APPROVAL FIRST! e Architectural Review Committee (ARC) continues to see applications submitted for work that was done without approval. Contact Maria Donti if you plan on home improvements or landscape changes. A five minute call can save you a lot of grief and money if what you did without approval now has to be returned to its original condition. Another reminder: Picking up aer your pets! Pet owners, please refrain from letting your dog urinate on your neighbor's lawns. Residents work hard to keep up their lawns, both natural and artificial, and with summer here, challenges increase with the heat. Urine kills the grass unless it is immediately diluted with water. e corner lots with grass seem to be more of a target. If you bring a bottle of water with you, and your dog goes on someone's lawn, pour some water on the spot to help dilute the urine. I also want to mention dogs going #2 and remind residents you are responsible for picking up aer your dogs. Please be a responsible pet owner. Lastly, later this month we will begin our Bi-Annual Age Re- Verification process. Please look for the packet in your mailbox. If you have any questions, please contact e Lodge office. May you and your family have a safe and enjoyable Fourth of July! ere is a lot to be thankful for.
