| LIFE IN SOLERA | JULY 2023 | 5 Summer is here. We had our first Concert on the Greens in June, which had a great turnout. In just a few days it will be the Fourth of July. Lots of activities with friends, family, and fireworks in the sky. Later in July will be our next Concert on the Greens. Join in with good food and great music. The ambassadors of this committee enjoy meeting new residents to Solera and presenting them with our Welcome Book. We truly believe this book contains valuable information about Solera, clubs/ groups, phone numbers, being prepared for emergencies, and much, much more. However, only about half of the new residents sign up to request a Welcome book. As residents you meet your new neighbors shortly after they move in and get settled. We ask for your assistance by asking your new neighbor if they requested a Welcome Book. They will not only receive a Welcome book; they will receive an invitation to our "Social Gathering," which is held every April and October. We would like to remind everyone that our "Social Gathering" is open to all residents of Solera. Representatives of all clubs/groups are invited to participate, and they are pleased to talk to everyone about their activities. There is a presentation of "Living in a HOA." This is especially informative to anyone who has never lived in a HOA. Everyone is welcome to join us during one or both sessions. The Social part begins at 6 pm, and the presentation begins at 6:45 pm. Mark your calendar for Wed., Oct. 25. If you are a homeowner resident, and you enjoy meeting new neighbors and friends, we want you as an ambassador for our community. We hold one meeting per month, January through November, on the fourth Friday at 1 pm. We also host the "Social Gathering" on the fourth Wednesday of April and October from 6 to 6:45 pm. The visit with the new resident is scheduled by you and the resident at a time you select. The visits can last 15 minutes to one hour, depending on the length of time taken for presenting the Welcome Book and questions and answers. Please join one of the meetings to see what we do.
