BON APPETIT CLUB
Our July meeting featured Chef Noel Barragan
who demonstrated making three fast and easy
summer salads. The first salad was spring mixed
greens with a gala apple vinaigrette dressing. The
salad also included craisins, walnuts, pecans,
red onions, apple slices and gorgonzola cheese.
Second was a fiesta salad with grilled chicken and
an avocado/lime dressing. The last was an Italian
pasta salad. All three were fast, easy and perfect
for a hot summer's lunch or dinner.
Future meetings will feature Julissa from
Beaumont High School culinary Program who
will demonstrate desserts in October, make a
charcuterie board or charcuterie in a cup in
September, and a Chili Cook Off in November.

members who would like to share their famous
chili.
