Our June Crown Divas event was at Rusty Pelican in Newport
Beach. The day was sunny and breezy. The perfect weather for
lunch outside on the patio overlooking the harbor. Our view
was a clear blue sky, the ocean and boats sailing by. We were
greeted by a charming server named Ryan. He later told us he
is also a professional magician. We started with exotic drinks.
Various delightful appetizers followed. Then we ordered
our entrées and desserts. Enjoying each other's company,
the Divas shared conversations about past and future trips,
family pictures and planned summer vacations. Our entrées
and desserts were, as presumed, delicious. Ryan took our
group picture and, as promised, he made us all laugh when he
took it. The weather was perfect, the view was beautiful, the
service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the company
was fun. I guess we could say it was a magical day! ~ Irma

Crown Divas Red Hats
The primary topic for this month's meeting was Astrophotography
and making out-of-this world images. The meeting was to prepare
for our photo outing to Joshua Tree on July 15 to shoot the Milky Way.
We look forward to seeing the results at the August meeting.
Shutterfly accounts are beginning to fill as members upload
pictures for different shoots. Members are encouraged to have their
own "album" at Shutterfly. Thanks to everyone who sent in "Green"
photos. Next month we should also have some great July Fourth
celebrations and fireworks pictures.
Also, on the second Thursday of the month, the Club holds Zoom
meetings dedicated to learning about Adobe editing programs
(Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Lightroom). Contact Jacque at
