Sew What? Club
Since the beginning of our club some 30 years ago, we always take pride
in donating everything we make to local places such as the San Gorgonio
hospital, the San Bernardino Pregnancy center, local convalescent homes,
and to veterans at March Air Force Base. But it seems sewers are few and
far between as our sewing group now has dwindled to three people. If the
club is going to survive we need some new energy and help.

or stop by the first and third Tuesdays of the month.
On another note, we have noticed lots of items collecting on our cabinet
countertops. Most of it is not usable by any groups. Please don't make
our Arts & Crafts Room your go-to drop-off site without asking first. Call
before dropping off your items as I know you wouldn't want to know that
it will eventually get thrown out. Thanks for your understanding.
Sun Lakes Mudslingers
We meet every Tuesday from 3 to 6 pm and Fridays from 9 am to
12 pm in the Arts & Crafts Room. No prior experience is needed.
Month-to-month sign up is allowed, so no lengthy commitment. We
do have space limitations though. Right now there is room for a few
more budding artists.
If you ever wanted to play in the mud or learn to use the wheel, now
is your chance. The cost is $70 per month and includes all supplies
and materials needed. Just bring yourself and have fun. Try out a
new hobby with very little expense and no new "stuff " to store.
