Join us on the Championship Course on Wednesdays for Men's Day! If you play golf often, sign up for one of the 2023 annual membership golf rate options. The 2023 Annual Fees and Application are available in our Pro Shop. Championship Course Membership includes play on the Executive Course at no additional charge. The Men's Club would like to recognize Brian Garlington, our Director of Golf, and his staff for the outstanding job they do daily to accommodate all of us golfers. Brian has been an asset to the Men's Club. His knowledge, helpfulness, and unwavering support for our Club is immeasurable. Brian and his staff are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure our tournaments are a success. Thank you to Brian and his staff for helping to make our Men's Club successful! From April 1 through September 2023, all Men's Club Events/ Tournaments will have an 8 am shotgun start. Just a reminder: During these hot months, please keep yourself hydrated! Tournament Schedule this month: Sept. 13, 15 and 16 – Club Championship, 3 Flights (Championship, Senior, & Super Senior). Sept. 20 and 23 – Member/Member (Scramble & Best Ball). Don't forget to pick up a Men's Golf Club membership application form in the Pro Shop and submit your 2023 fees. Membership fees for 2023 will remain the same, $76 ($40 for our Men's Club and $36 to SCGA to maintain a GHIN Handicap). Membership fees must be paid to allow you access to the SCGA GHIN Program and to continue playing in Men's Club Tournaments in 2023. Our members would love to tell you about our club and some of the benefits of joining. Our dues are only $20 for the remainder of 2023, and we are open to all male Sun Lakes residents who are interested in golf, fun, and camaraderie. All levels of players (beginners to experienced) are welcome. We play every Friday morning on the SCGA rated Executive Course. By the time this is published, we will have completed our Club Championship that was held on Wednesday and Friday, Aug. 16 and 18. Upon completion, we hope to have a new Club Champion (low gross) and a new Eagle Champion (low net). Stop by our table during Activities Day to see who they are. Our September tournament will be a 3-Clubs and Putter to be played on Fri., Sept. 8. This will be the first time we have had a truly funky tournament. Scoring will be out of this world. Results for this tournament will also be available on Activities Day.
