You bet! Get started today. Physical activity doesn't need to be complicated. Something as simple as a daily brisk walk can help you live a healthier life. For example, regular brisk walking can help you: • Maintain a healthy weight • Prevent or manage various conditions, including heart disease, high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes • Strengthen your bones • Li your mood • Improve your balance and coordination e faster, farther and more frequently you walk, the greater the benefits. Walking is what we do. e class consists of nine different Leslie Sansone "Walk Fit" DVDs. e easy-to-follow routines are set to music with varying tempos. e complete class is four miles, but you can come late or leave early to shorten your routine and work at your own level. A few of the DVDs incorporate resistance bands (always optional). Some class members add light hand weights for added strength training. Stop by and give us a try. New members are always welcome! Walk Fit Healthy Living e couple in the photo at le are long-time members of the Healthy Living Team. Fred and Cherrie Rau will readily admit that the social interaction encourages them to keep attending along with the interesting and informative articles provided. e first half hour of the class is dedicated to sharing individual health concerns. Dave Tuvim, our host, also distributes articles on varying subjects pertaining to health-related advice. e second half hour finds us enjoying social interaction and a great breakfast in the Bistro. Bid Whist PLUS Club e Bid Whist PLUS Social Club meet the first Friday of every month from 2 to 5:30 pm in the Game Room at the Four Seasons of Hemet Lodge. We are a welcoming, diverse, and friendly social group who enjoy playing a variety of card/board games, great food, and good times. No experience necessary. We will teach any novice, and you'll catch on fast. While the majority of current members primarily play a card game known as Bid Whist, we encourage all our participants to explore their preferences for other table games as they are inclined. You will have fun, enjoy good company and great food (potluck). If you just want to talk, eat, and catch up on the goings on, that's very much okay too. So, what's your pleasure: Bones/Dominoes, Bridge, Spades, Uno, Backgammon, Checkers, Cribbage?
