Disco was the theme of our dance in August. Alex the DJ brought the party to life. Guests came dressed in Disco wear and danced the night away to music by Abba, the Bee Gees, Gloria Gaynor, KC & the Sunshine Band, and the Village People, to name a few. Club Members Jeff and Linda Hurley hosted this party and brought in the creative team of committee members: Cynthia and Jim Knutson, Tim and Donna Bearman, Joanne Viner and Fred Gresovic, Janet Mrvos, and Marilyn Erwin. Save October 28 for the Halloween Party with music by one of our favorite bands, Hot Pursuit. Partygoers really dress up in costumes so start planning yours and join the fun. If you are not already a Doo Wop and Disco Club member and would like to learn how to reserve a seat at one or more of these parties, print out the membership form under Social Clubs/ Doo Wop Club on OceanHillsCountryClub.com; complete the information, and drop it by the Clubhouse's front desk. Include a check for $10 per person for annual dues. Make your check payable to OH Doo Wop Club. We will send you email about all future parties. Hope to see you on the dance floor! 16 | OHCC LIVING | OCTOBER 2023 | Doo Wop & Disco Dance Line Dancers Dance can effectively promote good health by improving cardiovascular fitness, strengthening muscles, increasing circulation, decreasing blood pressure, lowering the risk of cardiovascular disease, reducing stress, and many other positive benefits.
