Are you new to Sun Lakes or a long-time resident and would like to attend one of our events to find out what our monthly dinner and dances are like? We have a "try before you buy" opportunity available to Sun Lakes residents who have not been members in the past. Previous members do not qualify for this "try before you buy" opportunity. So give the ICC Dinner Dance Club a try; you will find members to be a friendly group of people who enjoy socializing, dining and dancing to live music each month. For more information about the club, contact Evelyn Hawkins at (951) 845- 7199, Martie Steggell at (951) 769-3217, or Donna Leone at (951) 797-0832. ICC Dinner Dance Club Makua Hula Hawaiian Dancers Our Makua Hawaiian Dancers received a special invitation to perform at the Westfield Villa Gardens in Banning for their Hawaiian Luau celebration. The Makua Hawaiian dancers continue to enjoy performing in our community. Engaging in dances as a whole group, Makua Hawaiian Dancers also engage in Hawaiian dance solos which highlight each of the dancers. Hawaiian Luau's this summer have not disappointed. Our Makua dancers ended the luau season with a nice luau feast that included Kalua Pig and all the trimmings including Poi. Anyone interested in learning more about Hawaiian Hula dancing are welcomed to join the Makua Hula Dancers every Wednesday at the North Clubhouse from 10 am to 12 pm. No previous dance experience is necessary. If you are interested in having the Makua Hula dancers perform for your event, or would like more information about our group, contact Perla Williams at (951) 467- 8339 or pearlyshellsdancer@gmail.com. A'a i ka hula, waiho i ka maka'u i ka hale. ~ Hawaiian saying (Dare to dance, leave shame at home) Ed and Diane Avina enjoy dancing at the monthly ICC Dinner Dance Club's events.
