On Wednesday, Nov. 15, the Petal Pushers Garden Club invites all of
you to join us for a day bus trip to Roger's Gardens in Corona Del Mar
(photo below). This exciting day will begin with a bus pick-up at the
Clubhouse at 9:30 am. We will first stop at Fashion Island in Newport
Beach for a 90-minute, give or take, lunch on your own. Fashion
Island has a variety of food choices in its center, e.g., Panda Express,
Stone Oven, The Goods Café, Five Guys, Chick-Fil-A, and Blaze Pizza.
After lunch, we will take the short drive to Roger's Gardens. We will
have about two hours in the gardens before returning to the bus for
the journey back to Murrieta. The cost is $30. We will be back in time
for the Wine Club event that night.

On Wednesday, Nov. 15, we will have a Travelogue of the Santa
Barbara area and will be tasting four of the area's wines. Dinner
will be tri-tip with garlic mashed potatoes. Tickets will be sold to
members on Monday, Oct. 23, in the Atrium from 10 am to noon and
from 5 to 7 pm.
The Wine Club has grown so much that we brought in three new
Directors at our last member meeting. We are pleased to welcome
Dick Castle, Bruce Hartwig and Jeff Hillerich to the Board.
The Wine Club will be dark in December.
