Wine Club
"Open the Door to 24" will be the theme for the Wine Club's first event of the
New Year scheduled for Sat., Jan. 20 at 5 pm in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom.
The evening will include tasting six different bottles of wine on each table
as well as a large charcuterie board of assorted cheese, meats, fruit and nuts.
This is a members' only event and the cost is $55 per person which will include
your $10 membership fee for 2024. If you are new to the club you will need to
include a completed membership application form* along with your check for
the event. Each member will receive a gift for attending and one person at each
table will win a bottle of wine to take home.
Contemporary jazz saxophonist and flautist, Walle Larsson, will provide
the evening's musical entertainment. Larsson has been awarded two top 20
Billboard songs and also is the recipient of two number 1 New York Music
Choice Chart songs.
Seating will be at tables of eight and club members who wish to sit together
should submit their checks in one envelope. Make checks payable to the Sun
Lakes Wine Club and drop them off to Steve and Jan von Rajcs, at 4883 Copper
Creek Drive. The deadline to sign up for the event is Jan. 14.
Dues for 2024 are only $10 per person. Applications for brand new members
are available in the racks in the Main Clubhouse Lobby. It is important to
include your email address if you have one, so we can send you information
on club events. Membership applications and checks made payable to the Sun
Lakes Wine Club can be dropped off to Club Treasurer, Steve von Rajcs, 4883
Copper Creek Drive.
