Couples Golf
Autumn, also known as fall in North
American English, is one of the four
temperate seasons on Earth. Autumn marks
the transition from summer to winter.
Daylight becomes noticeably shorter and the
temperature finally cools considerably. For
the Sun Lakes Couples Golf Club it is a time
to reflect on how blessed we are to have a
wonderful group of golfers to share the tee
box with, but more importantly, to share life
with. We are an eclectic, diverse
group of unusual personalities that
never fail to impress, amuse, and
amaze each other! We are not too
hot, (some of us), and not too cold
- we are just right!
The couples club is open to
anyone - there do not have to be
two of you. We have plenty of
single players to pair you with to
enjoy Sunday morning golf. You
do not have to be married, you do
not have to be a couple. You can
be two enemies with a passion for golf. You
do not have to be a good golfer. I am not a
good golfer and I am always encouraged and
finish the game feeling better about myself
for having golfed with these outstanding
people. You must have a GHIN to calculate
your handicap. The pro shop can help you
with establishing one.
Congratulations to the winners of one of
last month's couple club golf game.
